How do I run a fan drop as a brand?
Reward your fans with gift cards or cash on your celebration page.
Fan drops let a verified brand reward the fans of a celebration page with gift cards or cash.
What you need first#
- A verified brand account. Verification proves who you are and that you represent the business.
- A company account funded with the money for the drop.
- A published celebration page.
Only the brand's Owner can make a fan drop.
Two ways to run one#
- Automatic: choose the reward (a gift card or cash), the amount each, and the number of winners. Winners are drawn when the celebration's day ends. The money is set aside from your company account when you create the drop, and you confirm with your PIN.
- Manual: you pick each winner and their reward. No money is taken until you release the rewards.
Limits#
- Up to 100 winners per drop.
- A cash reward starts at ₦100 per winner.
- One drop can total up to ₦5,000,000.
Where rewards can be received#
Cash can be received by people in Nigeria for now, and gift cards by people where the brand is available. See What can I do where I live? so you know who your rewards can reach.
How winners are chosen (automatic)#
From the signed-in fans who left a wish, by a random draw or by being first to wish. Gift cards land in each winner's Gift Vault.
If you change your mind or no one wins#
- Cancel before the draw and everything returns to your company account.
- Any reward nobody was left to win goes back to you.
