# How do I create my Wrapp account?

Wrapp is for everyone, wherever you are. You can create an account in about a minute.

## What you need

- A **phone number** or an **email address** you can get a code on.
- To be **13 or older**. If you're under 18, you can use Wrapp with a parent or guardian's permission.

## Steps

1. Open Wrapp and tap **Log in or sign up**.
2. Enter your phone number or email.
3. Enter the **6-digit code** we send you. See [I didn't get my sign-in code](/articles/i-did-not-get-my-sign-in-code/) if it doesn't arrive.
4. Choose your **username** (your @name), add your birthday and tell us your country.

That's it. You now have your own birthday page, and you can start sending and receiving wishes.

## What you can do with your account

- **Send wishes** to anyone, and send gifts to people in Nigeria.
- **Create celebration pages** for birthdays, weddings, graduations and more, and **receive wishes** on them.
- **Follow** friends and brands.

Receiving **cash gifts** and opening a Wrapp account number is available to people in Nigeria for now. See [What can I do where I live?](/articles/what-works-where/) for the full picture.

## Good to know

- You can change your username once every 30 days.
- Your birthday can be corrected once in the first 48 hours. After that it can only change through support, so double-check it.
- Your country is where you live, and you can change it any time.
